A Guitar Legend Skips America While A Florida Lawsuit Forces Hard Questions About Fertility Clinics
Some headlines demand more than a scroll and a shrug. We open our feed to find a touring icon calling the U.S. too dangerous for shows and a Florida couple alleging an IVF mix-up that left them raising a baby with no genetic link to either parent. Two different worlds, one shared thread: trust. What makes us feel safe in public spaces, and what holds our faith in the systems that shape our most private hopes?
We unpack how artists and managers weigh touring risks: venue security, insurance, polarization, and the physical toll of life on the road. Age, stamina, and reputation collide with fan expectations, and we ask what it would take to make concerts feel truly communal again. Clear security plans, better crowd communication, and transparent protocols are not just logistics—they’re the social contract that keeps live music alive.
Then we turn to the fertility clinic lawsuit that raises hard questions with no easy answers. We walk through the alleged embryo mix-up, the immediate DNA shock, and the couple’s dual reality: deep love for the child and a moral drive to find her genetic parents. We break down the ethics—autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice—and the practical safeguards clinics should adopt: redundant labeling, barcoding, biometric verification, independent audits, and swift patient notification. For families, we outline smart questions to ask before treatment and why incident transparency matters for everyone involved, especially the child whose best interests must lead.
Along the way, we keep it human—what safety means at a show, what parenthood means when science stumbles, and how institutions earn back trust through honesty and accountability. Stay for a light closer and our question of the day: share your favorite black-and-white classic for movie night. If this conversation resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a quick review—what would you fix first: concert safety or clinic safeguards?

Good morning and happy Friday. I hope you're doing well. It's the weekend. Yay. Okay. Well, let's get right to the stories, shall we? I it was difficult for me to find anything. And look, I screen captured a headline. This is the kind of stuff that I'm looking forward to not reading anymore. Let me see if I can let's see. Oh gosh, here we go. Ugh. Woman fatally shot set on fire after she was ambushed by trio during meeting to buy a puppy. That's not the only one either. There are tons of headlines like that on the New York Post that I'm looking forward to not reading anymore. I don't bring those kind of stories to you because I think they're gross and brutal and awful. Oh, okay. We need to move on to my other stories that I have. The one that I have, I think is, I'm going to save that one for last. Oh my gosh, come on. There we go. The Florida couple sues fertility clinic after alleged embryo mix-up results in birth of a non-Caucasian child. Uh, we're going to, it's not biological there, biologically there. We're going to read that for last. Uh, the first one, the first one I want to get to, though, is Queen Rocker Brian May rules out touring in U.S. because it's become a dangerous place. He's not the first one that says he's not going to tour in the U.S. because it's become a dangerous place. Whatever. I'm just surprised. And look, he is 76 years old. Maybe it's time to retire. What is it with these 76-year-old rockers? I mean, Bruce Springsteen, I did a whole video on him and a blog post at the Victor Girls about his stupid protest song. All he did was read a headline and thought, oh, this'll make a song. And he just wrote down words. And he and he bragged about writing it in a day, recording it the next, and then releasing it the next. And it is quite obvious that's what he did. He took no time. All he did was took words from headlines and put it to music, to a guitar riff. That's all he did. And he is, I've never been a fan of his. I've never liked Bruce Springsteen. Even at the height of his popularity, whatever. I don't know. I don't I didn't see the um the uh likability in him. Okay, legendary queen guitarist Brian Mae declared that the U.S. has become too much of a dangerous place for his band to tour in the near future. He's 78 years old who last toured with American Idol Alum Alum Alum You know Yeah. Adam Lambert in 2023 did not come to the decision lightly when they ruled out playing gigs in America. That's fine. No one wants to see your 78 year old 70. Oh, I said 76 and 78. No one wants to see your 78-year-old ass on stage anyway. So good riddance. You when when Frederick Mercury died, you were done anyway in my book. Frederick Mercury was queen. Okay, I need to get to the story of the Florida couple, Sue's fertility clinic, after alleged embryo mix-up results in birth of a non-Caucasian child. I also heard this story on Fox News on the way in to work today. But let's go over here and read it, this story from the New York Post. Um, so this Florida couple, they're a white couple, they spent five years. Oh, I'm sorry, let me go back to the beginning. They went used a fertility clinic and they birthed you know how IVF IVF works. Um anyway, this woman carried this child nine months, gave birth to it, and they knew immediately something was not right because the baby was not white. And they have pictures of the baby now with them, and obviously this is not their child. And they did DNA testing and everything, and the results came back that no, this child is not theirs. Nothing genetically is about them, about this child is theirs. It is somebody else's embryo. She has carried somebody else's child. So uh Tiffany Score and Stephen Mills allege that Orlando Fertility Clinic, IVF Life, and its head reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Milton McNichol, implanted another patient's embryo in Score's uterus in April of 2025. In 2020, Score and Mills stored three viable embryos at the clinic, which boasts about its advanced fertility care and cutting edge technology for in vitro fertilization, a process that creates embryos and stores them until pregnancy. So five years later, after an embryo was implanted, the couple then gave birth to a beautiful, healthy female child on December 11th. My birthday, yay. Um, according to the lawsuit filed in January of 22. I mean January 22nd. The new parents claim they immediately knew something was wrong after the birth since they are Caucasian and the baby displays the physical appearance of a racially non-Caucasian child. And they do have pictures, and uh, it is it is different. I mean, they are not the same. Later genetic testing confirmed the baby had no genetic relationship to either parent. Oh, Scores and Mills attorney. So forget it, Jeffy. She wasn't fooling around on the side behind her husband's back. No, that they actually did testing. Scores and Mills attorney, John Scarola, said he sent the clinic a letter on behalf of the couple on January 5th, demanding it unite the baby with their with her genetic parents, and to explain what happened to his clients' embryos. Now, at first you might think these parents are cold and callous for not saying they don't want the baby, that they need to return it to the biological parent or whatever. But here's why. Beyond the devastating mix-up, they also fear another person may have been implanted with their embryo and could be pregnant with or raising their child. The lawsuit states the couple formed an intensely strong emotional bond with the baby during the pregnancy that confer that continues to grow with the child remaining in their care. Though they are willing to raise the child themselves, the couple feels a legal and moral obligation to unite the baby with her genetic parents and hand her over to them if they wish. Now, this is not adoption. This is not about an this is not an adoption agency. These people harvest or whatever, they're their eggs and all that stuff, and they store them for when they're ready to have a baby or whatever, however that works. I don't know. I don't know if that's the reason or if it they need medical help in getting pregnant. But it's not about I'm gonna have a baby and then give it up for no, this is not. This they want their own child. Though they are willing to raise the child themselves, the couple feels that I already read that, they have fallen in love with the child, so they would be thrilled in the knowledge that they could raise the child, but their concern is that this is someone else's child, and someone could show up at any time and claim the baby and take the baby away from them. So yeah, I get that. I get that totally. The lawsuit is seeking emergency court action to force the clinic to alert all affected patients, pay for widespread genetic testing, and disclose whether other families may have been impacted by the embryo mix-up. Now, look, people, this is where this is what we get for playing God ourselves. This is what happens. This kind of thing happens when we start to think we know better than God. All right, I'm gonna leave it there for you with that, and let's see what else do we have going on. Um, I guess I need to do the question of the day. So let's see. I'm trying to think out loud here. I'm trying to uh let's see. Okay, this isn't the question of the day, but it'll be interesting today to see if anybody shows up to work. And I guess this is the don't go to work, don't shop, stay home kind of protest for the anti-ICE people, which is fine. Stay home. I don't care. Stay off the streets. I don't want you out and about, okay? That's fine with me. Also, don't go out and impede law enforcement either. You just need to stay home, which makes me think, okay, I need to do my part and go shopping. Maybe I need to buy another wig. I'm just kidding, hon, I'm not gonna buy another wig, maybe. Okay, now we need to move on to the question of the day. Forgive me if I've asked this before, but I'm gonna ask it again. Tonight, the gent and I are watching on the waterfront. It stars Marlon Brando. It's an old black and white movie. So, my I want a recommendation from you. What is a good old black and white film that we should watch? That's the question of the day. Forgive me if I've already asked it. But I think I may have asked it. I can't remember. Anyway, anyway. Only what, 12, 13 more episodes to go, I think. Ah, alright. I am gonna miss it, but it needs to be done. It's time. It's just time. All right, I gotta go. Thanks for listening. Bye.
