From Baby News To A Battle Over Gender Policy
A simple piece of good news sets the stage for a bigger conversation about how personal moments collide with public narratives. We move from that spark into a frank, first-person look at women’s rights, sex-based spaces, and why language isn’t just semantics—it's the scaffolding for law, sport, safeguarding, and education. Along the way, we call out performative politics, question the durability of executive orders without legislative backing, and weigh what pending Supreme Court cases could mean on the ground where school boards and clinics set daily rules.
We dig into articles that frame the stakes: how shifting from biological definitions to identity-first language generates ambiguity that ripples through courts and policies. Europe comes into focus with moves at the Council of Europe, highlighting how transnational frameworks can shape national standards. At home, we press the case for staying local: attend school board meetings, read actual drafts and resolutions, and keep an eye on how definitions migrate from social media into official documents. The pattern looks like whack-a-mole—push back in one venue, it appears in another—which is exactly why proximity and persistence matter.
You’ll hear personal stories and pointed examples: support groups and boundaries, campus flashpoints around curriculum, and what happens when language choices decide outcomes before debate even starts. The throughline is simple: clarity protects people. That means asking precise questions, refusing euphemism, and keeping core terms coherent so law can do its job. We wrap with a practical pivot—storm preparedness—as a reminder that preparation beats panic, whether the forecast is ice or policy change.
If this conversation resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who cares about clear language and fair rules, and leave a review to help others find it. Your perspective drives the next chapter—what definition do you think we should clarify first?

Ooh, Oosha's gonna have a baby. What is this? Her fourth? Good for them. No wonder the vice president is always seems like he's in a good mood. Right? Uh well, congratulations. Baby making. Yay! Um, that's my first thought. Yay! Love babies, yay, families, yes. And then the awfulness creeped in on me, and I thought, well, I wonder what the left is gonna do with this information. And my first thought, I know this is horrible. Jennifer Welch, that awful, nasty, disgusting, ugly woman is going to say something terrible about the news. She's gonna I mark my words. I'm giving you a prediction right now. She's probably gonna come out and and she's probably just gonna come right out and say it that they should abort the baby. That's what they are gonna do with that information. Mark my words right now. Because they are disgusting and vile. Okay, and I am going to refocus my ex account and my blog and my YouTube, especially my YouTube channel. I think I am gonna keep it. I am going to refocus that all back on women's issues, and I say women's issues, uh, I'm talking about the trans ideology, and I want to be another voice to protect uh women, biological, by biological reality, and defending women only spaces and plainly speaking about it. So that's what I'm going to start doing. And speaking of which, I have three stories here on my X file that I want to bring to you regarding that information. Um, let's see. Oh, but first of all, first of all, let me tell you what Vance Langman talked about. I just retweeted it. He says, Oh, look, the House Oversight Committee is launching an investigation into Elon Omar. In other words, in six months, they'll they will put out a mean report, put out mean posts on X, go on handy and say mean things about Elon Omar, and then absolutely nothing will be done about it. That is spot on Vince. And I retweeted it. Alright, we're moving on to the first story here, and this is all about trans stuff because let me tell you something. Just because Donald Trump put out an executive order doesn't mean anything is going to be actually done about it as far as Congress acting because they've done nothing. We have two cases in the Supreme Court about this topic, and I think a lot of I I need to have I need to be another voice speaking out on this, even though I'm just a nobody working gal here, just a regular citizen. I don't have a big platform or anything, but I can speak as best I can about this and keep bringing it up to people because it needs to be still forefront because the Democrats, if they ever get back in power, they will push this. And I think we need to hold the Democrats in this primary season coming up, or in the midst of it now, we need to hold their feet to the fire. We need to make them answer questions about this topic. I think a lot of people feel like there are bigger and more important things to talk about. But this is important too. Trust me, it is very important. Um, okay, I gotta go get my coffee. Hold on. Well, I've got one more thing before we move on. I I screenshot Glenn Beck's profile on X, and he has the Iranian revolutionary flag in his profile picture. I thought we didn't, I thought we didn't like doing that. I thought we didn't like putting other countries' flags in our profile. And then he's a little braggy on his on his profile. My goodness, Glenn. Digital disruptor, truth teller, philanthropist of 300 million plus raised. Wow, okay, empowering the people, not the system. Well, okay, Glenn Beck. Good for you. But but take down the Iranian revolutionary flag, please, from your profile picture. I thought we didn't like doing that. Okay, so there's I have a tweet out here called The Special Anthropology of Transgenderism, the Catholic Thing. We uh it's from the Catholicthing.org. I think you should go read it. I think it's a fantastic read. It's a little long, I think, to for me to just sit here and read it now to you. Um, but again, they're talking about how this is important and we need to keep talking about it. Um how sexual reality is constructed outside in or inside out matters. Oh my gosh, pop up. Uh the former, which has guided human societies for most of history, yields clarity and coherence. The latter, demanded by gender ideology, produces ambigu ambiguity, ambiguity, I can't, whatever, and contradiction. Sex-based spaces lose intelligibility. Sex differentiated athletic competition would then require medical certification. Law becomes incapable of drawing stable distinctions, and that's what they want. Incapable of drawing uh certainly none based on ordinary human perception. Is this a man or a woman? That's what they want. That's that's why that lawyer for the ACLU in the Supreme Court did not have an answer for the Supreme Court justice who asked, What is a definition? Can you have a definition of a man or a woman or whatever? And they said, No, we don't. It wasn't by accident. They did that on purpose. This is a good read. I think you should go read it. All right. Uh, what was else? There was another one. Oh, how the Council of Europe could foist trans ideology on us all. This is from Spiked Online. Another good read, I think you should go read if you want to be informed on this kind of thing to help spread the message here. Trans ideology is persistent pest. Strike it down in one place with the sanity hammer, and it simply pops up somewhere else. This is true. This is why I think well, the Supreme Court has tearing these two cases, and I predict that they're just gonna boot them back and let the states decide. That's why you see it everywhere. You think it's squelched, and then it because it's of a state's issue, then it pops up other places. And it's not just the state, there's counties, cities, districts. I mean, it's everywhere. Um, and I have dedicated, I'm told myself that I'm going to start getting involved in the school system here as far as keeping up with the school board and what they're teaching our children. Because uh, yeah, it's it's gonna be it's that's the thing I said yesterday too on my podcast, how they've gotten rid of the local news, newspaper, even if it's online. If you go online and read your local online newspaper, it will talk about stuff nationally, national news. It rarely talks about anything that's happened in your community. Uh, and that's on purpose because I think they want to sneak these agendas in. That's why nobody will keep nobody has keeps up with it because they're too busy doing other things. They don't want to have to go digging for this information. All right, now I have to go get my coffee. Hold on, I'll be right back. All right, so yeah. The the this game of whack-a-mole is playing out in Europe after the public's turn against this damaging ideology in the UK. Labor MP Kate Osborne is now attempting to export dangerous and discredit ideas about gender identity across the continent. Last month, gender zealot Osborne took her cause to the Council of Europe, the transnational body that created the European Convention on Human Rights and undergirds of the Europe Court of the Human Rights, she tabled a draft resolution at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe calling for a Europe-wide ban on conversion practices. This would apply not only to attempts to change a person's sexual orientation, but also to efforts to align a person's gender identity whether they're sex assigned at birth. In other words, it would stop parents, counselors, and therapists from even questioning someone's belief that they're born in the wrong body. The resolution is due to be debated and voted on later this month. So this is happening in Europe, but let me tell you, it's gonna it's happening here too. Uh, the I mean the title is to talks about how uh this could foist the trans ideolog ideology on us all. Anyway, you can go finish reading that. I like to just introduce you to these things, and if you're interested, you can go finish it for yourself. Um but oh gosh, here's here's another thing. This is from Diana Alistar. You need to follow her on X. I'm sure you all remember Gabrielle Darone, the trans identifying man who simulated a pregnancy that ended in a planned stillbirth. He and he was trying to pretend to be a woman who was pregnant, okay. He joined a support group for a woman who had experienced for women who experienced stillbirth. And when some of the women objected to his presence, they were ejected from their own support group. I hadn't seen this before, but it absolutely does not surprise me that this disgusting man was praised for playing acting at somewhat something that women actually do every week. I mean, it's disgusting. Alright, I need to move on to the next story that I have because let me find it. I apologize. I thought I had it ready to go. Um oh, this one. Here's another site that you might want to check into every once in a while if you're interested in this kind of thing. Redux.info. R-edux.info. And they have all of the trans news that is happening. I mean, and it is disgusting. It's a lot, y'all. Here's a recent one. California family loses custody of daughter after refusing to medically affirm her transgender identity. This is not a joke. This is really happening, people. Here's how it starts. You ready for this? A Ukrainian, a Ukrainian family in California. So I don't know if they're legal or not. I don't know. A Ukrainian family in California says child welfare removed their teenage daughter from their home and placed them on child abuse registry after they declined to affirm her transgender identity. So these I thought we were for Ukraine people, but apparently not when it comes to this. Speaking to Redux under the condition of anonymity, the parents say the removal followed a report filed by their daughter psychiatrist without their knowledge. Again, this is California, so this is probably perfectly legal. This is what they have set up in California. The mother, who will be referred to as Ellie, told Redux that a social worker from Shasta County Child Welfare Services arrived at the family's home on June 3rd, in 2024. So this has been a while. But they're just now reporting on it. I don't know why. Without prior notice. According to Ellie, the worker accused the parents of emotional abuse and demanded access to their daughter, who will be referred to as Maya without presenting a warrant or court order. Wow. I just, it's unbelievable. Let's see. I know I'm just I'm you can go finish reading that one. There's one more headline here. Uh I want to get into this a little bit. The White House wants to eliminate gender ideology and trans ideology. What does that mean? This is from CNN.com. Let's see what they say it means. Because you know, they might say it means something else. Last week, the Board of Regents of the Texas AM University system vote voted to forbid professors from teaching courses that advocate race or gender ideology or topics related to sexual orientation or gender identity without advanced permission from their university's president. And they should. Why do we need to be teaching this shit in the first place about anything? It was the newest escalation in a running conflict that began when a student in a summer course on children's literature recorded video of herself accusing her professor of going against our president's law by teaching gender ideology and declared that she was reporting their purported violation to the administration. Texas Republican politicians seized on the video as a scandal, with one state representative calling it transgender indoctrination. And yes, that's what it is. The Trump administration joined in with Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmie Dillon, calling it deeply concerning and declaring she would look into it. Yeah, that's what they all say. Within days, the professor had been fired, students-led academic freedom protests, and the president of the systems flagship university resigned for reasons unspecified, all in the wake of a controversy about whether a class about children's literature could legally discuss a children's book about a 12-year-old coming out as non-binary. Well, that's not literature, sweetheart. A children's book about a 12-year-old coming out as non-bar non-binary, that is not literature. In the past year, the terms gender ideology and its sibling transgender ideology have become ubiquitous in government documents and policy announcements, in mass media, and in online disputes. The White House has declared its intention to stamp them out. What do they mean by this exactly? Well, in 2016, I know I'm going over, I'm sorry. Um I'll just, you know, I'll finish reading this myself and you can go finish reading it too, but it's all about the language. It's and because we need to stop saying we need to stop saying trans woman because there is no such thing. We need to stop saying trans child or trans youth because there's no such thing. Trans child or trans youth, that is simply called child abuse. Profound child abuse. Okay. And then we need to stop saying terms like cis women. It's women or men. Period. And when you talk about people like Dylan Mulvaney or Ellen Page or people that have transitioned, even if they've had surgery, they are still their biological sex. And we need to start simply and plainly speaking with our regular words and stop using their language because when you use their language, you are validating them. Stop it. Stop. Okay. Well, that's what I'm going to start focusing on more and more as I go forward with whatever. Okay, I guess I gotta have the question of the day. And by the way, after this episode, I only have 18 more to go for the podcast. Alright, so the question of the day is Alright, totally off topic. Since we are going, we're they are predicting that we're gonna have bad weather. And the thing is, they've started this earlier this week with predicting we're gonna have bad weather this coming weekend in Alabama and Tennessee. And they're saying it's gonna be ice and snow and blah blah blah blah blah. It's gonna be the worst, blah, blah, blah. Well, to me, I thought, well, one, they've started predicting this too early. And obviously, now it's Wednesday, now they're kind of backing off on it a little bit. But we have I've lived through an ice storm before, and it is not fun. Now I grew up in Ohio, so I know what snow is and I know how to drive on snow, but you cannot drive on ice. You can I've never been through an ice storm until I moved to Alabama, and my daughter was six months old at the time, and we had an ice storm, and we lost power, and I thought, what in the world? Thankfully, we had a generator, so we were able to have heat, coffee. Uh, you know, I felt good because we had, you know, a six-month-old baby, at least we could stay warm and heat up food and stuff, but um, with the generator, it was not fun though. Uh, so now they're predicting that. So, my question to you is what is in a storm like that, what is your number one survival tip? What do you need to have in the house if you are caught in an ice storm and you lose power? All right, that's the question of the day. All right, thanks for listening. Sorry I went over. Have a great day. Bye.
