Temptations, Traps, and Toothpaste: The Bizarre Side of Relationships

Carol Marks

TALK TO ME, TEXT IT

Ever wondered what drives someone to pay thousands of dollars to test their partner's loyalty? We dive deep into the surprising world of professional "honey traps" – where attractive influencers charge up to $5,000 to tempt unsuspecting boyfriends online. As one such entrepreneur puts it: "I'm not out here ruining relationships, I'm just giving women the receipts." But the real question remains: if you're already suspicious enough to hire someone, don't you already know the answer?

The conversation takes an unexpected turn as we explore scientific innovation happening in dental care – researchers at King's College London have discovered that keratin, a protein found in human hair, could replace fluoride in toothpaste. This breakthrough uses the body's own materials to create a protective coating that mimics natural enamel. While brushing your teeth with a hair-derived product might sound strange, it could be on shelves within two years.

We also tackle a frustrating social media phenomenon: why do influential accounts amplify hateful comments by reposting them? When public figures with large followings share screenshots of abusive messages, they're inadvertently giving trolls exactly what they want – attention and a bigger platform. Sometimes the old advice rings true: simply ignoring negativity might be more effective than highlighting it. These modern dilemmas reflect our evolving digital landscape where relationship boundaries, scientific advances, and social media ethics constantly intersect. What strange dinner conversations have these topics sparked in your home?

Speaker 1:

Hello, good morning, welcome one and all. We do need to get right to it this morning. We have a few things to talk about, mainly relationship stories and Warm Gatorade. His actual handle is Biden's Fine China, but at the top it says Warm Gatorade and he says he hopes this story makes the show. Now I don't know if I didn't know if he was talking about my show here, my little podcast, or if he meant on Pat Gray, but I'm going to talk about it. I know it's disgusting. It's early in the morning. I hope you've not had your breakfast yet, or I hope maybe I don't know.

Speaker 1:

We're not going to read all of the story because I think it's one of those fake stories. But who knows, why do we do that? Why do we think stories like this are fake? Yet we read all kinds of other stories about murder and rape and those aren't fake, but yet we think something like this is fake. Well, it's from Reddit. So who knows? Actually it's in the New York Post, but the original story came from Reddit. I'm not going to read all of it.

Speaker 1:

So if you have little children, you know people love bathroom humor. I do not. I am not one of them. People love crap stories, poop stories. I am not one of them. I don't even like the word poop. Okay, so here we go. I dumped my disgusting boyfriend because he refused to wipe his butt. It made me physically, quite frankly, but it gets into nonsense. You know about what happened after she confronted him and the things he said back to her, the things that he said back to her, their little conversation. That's what I think is fake. Now you can go read this story if you want. It's over on my profile. I think Worm Gatorade tagged me in it. He provided the link to it.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, let me tell you how it starts, though it's quite funny how it starts. You ready for this? Okay, one exasperated woman's wiped out after a crappy confrontation with her butthole of a boyfriend. How many punch lines could they cram in one sentence? Three a reddit user took to the websites am I the a-hole forum to ask if she was in the wrong for telling her boyfriend she would break up with him if he doesn't start wiping his butt? Now here's the. Here's the silly part. Okay, I was not expecting this when she confronted him. He and the reason he gave her is ridiculous. And then they want to focus on that reason, instead of the hygiene of it all. So he tells her that, well, I don't wipe my butt because it's gay. Why would I want to touch my own behind? And then they want to focus on that him being homophobic. Y'all this is a fake story. Okay, you could go finish reading that if you're like we need to move on. But thank you, warm Gatorade, for bringing that to my attention and giving me something to talk about. It was quite, you know, funny, I think. Well, even though I don't like bathroom humor, but we'll stick with bathroom information, I have some more for you.

Speaker 1:

When you brush your teeth, you may not be using fluoride anymore. Toothpaste made out of hair. Yes, I said that Toothpaste made out of hair could be on shelves in two years. Scientists say it's the secret to stopping tooth decay Not fluoride, but hair, because of the carotene. Okay, meant to be, and they spelled M-I-N-T. Y'all.

Speaker 1:

Whoever writes these New York Post articles, they need to be slapped with a fine of not being funny. Okay, fluoride in toothpaste has been shown to strengthen tooth enamel, making our chompers more resistant to acids from plaque and bacteria that cause tooth decay. Researchers from king's college, london oh, it's london, okay, here we go say they have identified a substance that can protect against decay and repair early stage damage better than fluor. Fluoride Brace yourself. It's found atop your head, not atop my head. It's not, I am bald. It is so funny because they have a picture of a bald scientist in here too. Okay, maybe he used his own hair to research it, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

We are entering an exciting era where biotechnology allows us to not just treat symptoms, but restore biological functions using the body's own materials. I think that does make sense, said Sharif L Sharkaway, senior study author and consultant in prosthodontics at King's College in London. It's carotene, a protein in human hair, skin, nails and the wool of sheep forms a dense mineral coating that mimics the structure and function of natural enamel, protecting teeth and potentially sealing exposed nerve channels that cause sensitivity. Well, there you go. You can go finish reading that story if you like, because we got to get on to the main attraction here.

Speaker 1:

I have so much to say about this next story. It's y'all all right, you ready for this? You ready, ready, ready, okay. I have so many things to say. Suspicious women hire me as a honey trap to test if their boyfriends will cheat. It's shocking how fast men fold. It's not shocking to me, because they're men and you put something like that out there in front of them. That's what they're going to do. I have so many things? Okay, all right. Moreover, private detectives I'm sorry, move over private detectives.

Speaker 1:

Lena Madison is the real life honey trap, taking cheating boyfriends down one flirty emoji at a time. The influencer, who is 29 years old, whose $150,000 online funded curves turn heads, now cashes in by helping women catch cheating boyfriends. Number one, number one. If you are having to hire somebody to do this, you already know the answer to your question. All right, let's move on. She charges an arm and a leg. With 76,000 followers across social media, she became a go-to for girlfriends who want receipts, and she is quite attractive. They have pictures of her in here, so she definitely found her calling attractive. They have pictures of her in here, so she definitely found her calling. They slide into my inbox and ask me to flirt with their boyfriend to find out if he'll cheat. The bombshell recently told Jam Press Spoiler alert a lot of them will.

Speaker 1:

I didn't plan to become a real-life honey trap, but once a few girls online saw what I look like and what I do for work, they realized that I'm the ultimate temptation. Why do you want to tempt your boyfriends? He's already got probably a gazillion temptations in front of him every day anyway. Why would you pay someone to do this? You know the answer already. If you're going to this extent and paying, yes, $5,000 is what this chick charges, $5,000. I can spend $5,000 on something else. I'm not going to spend it on that because, number one, I don't need to. Number two, if I did have a suspicion, I already know the answer. Okay, I don't need to pay $5,000 out to find out. All right.

Speaker 1:

So she continued if your man resists my advances, he's solid. Well, duh, no shit. And if not, well then you've got your answer. I'm out here running ruining. She says. I'm not out here ruining relationships, I'm just giving women the receipts. So I just think this is ridiculous. I'm just giving women the receipts. So I just think this is ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

I was talking to my husband about this this morning and he said no, why would you want to do that? Put a temptation in front of your boy, in front of a man like that? Of course he's going to. And I thought oh really, is that right? But trust me, I am not worried. I am not worried. I know I am solid in my relationship. It's. It's all good, okay, so we need to move on and I guess I could make this the question of the day. Uh, maybe I just this is something that gets on my last damn nerve these. And'm going to call out some people, I'm going to call out some names.

Speaker 1:

Why do these big accounts on X Kat Tempf, joey Jones, mary Walters they all have big followings, they're all in the media but this they love to to retweet or take screenshots of their comments that they get that are brutal and horrible and just disgusting comments that they get, you know, hoping that they die and all this stuff. It is quite horrible, the comments they get. It's terrible. But why do you want to repost their stuff, even as a screenshot? Why do you want to do that? Why do you want to give the commenter a bigger platform? Are they doing it to get their fans to go attack that person? I mean, okay, but so the other? Just last night, kat Temp reposted something and this morning Joey Jones also reposted it on behalf of Kat Temp.

Speaker 1:

And look, I love those two. I do, I love them a lot, but stop giving these commenters a bigger audience than they need or deserve. So I went over to this profile and it has like they're following maybe one, one person. And then they have like maybe 30 people, 30 or 40 people following them and there's no profile picture. So that tells me it's either a bot, not a real person. And if it is a real person, why can't they just ignore them? Remember the old saying back in the day when I was growing up just ignore them, just ignore it, it'll go away. Maybe that wasn't, you know, a real good advice, I don't know, but I think with stuff like that, you could ignore it, don't you think? I mean, they're just giving them a bigger audience.

Speaker 1:

Now, like I said, maybe they do that to get their fans to go over there and attack them. I don't know, maybe they do it. See, I'm not famous. I don't have stuff like that happening to me, thank God, thank God, and I don't want to be famous. But maybe they do it to feel like they're not. They need to get a team behind them that they don't feel alone. And they maybe they're calling out this person. I don't know why they're doing it. I don't know. I don't know. Somebody tell me why.

Speaker 1:

Okay, question of the day is all right. Well, I can't think of a really good question, so I'm going to go with an easy one. What are you having for dinner tonight? We're having a bunless hamburger. I've been craving it for a couple of days now. I could have had one at 3 o'clock this morning when I got up. I'm so hungry and want a bunless hamburger and we have. You know, when I say bunless, it's just a regular big juicy hamburger Pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and that's all we're having. That's it. I'm back on my strict diet and it's all good. Lost some more weight and I'm working out again. It's been a week since I worked out, so whatever. No-transcript.
